Why we built it

Australian weekends have a rhythm: the early start, the folding table, the coffee, the browse. What has been missing is a decent way to find out what is actually on nearby — without wading through classifieds, dead event pages and screenshots of screenshots.

We are not a marketplace. Nothing is sold on The Good Find. We connect people with real places, real events and the people who run them.

What you can rely on

Every listing is submitted by the organiser or seller and checked by our team before it appears publicly. Expired events drop out of upcoming listings automatically rather than sitting there pretending to still be on.

Private sellers can list a garage sale free and choose how much of their address is public: the full street address, the approximate area, or an address released on the morning of the sale. A hidden address is never exposed in search results, on the map or in the page source.

For organisers

Markets and community groups can publish a public organiser profile, run recurring schedules, cancel individual dates without touching the series, and see how their listings perform. Featured placements — always labelled Sponsored — are available when you need a bigger turnout.
